This policy explains how FacilMenus handles information when restaurant owners, staff and customers use our websites, QR menus, dashboards and ordering services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account and contact details; restaurant, menu and staff information; customer order details such as name, contact information, table, party size, requests and order history; communications sent to us; and technical data such as IP address, browser, device, timestamps, pages viewed and security logs. Payment-card details are handled by the selected payment provider; FacilMenus may receive transaction identifiers, status and limited billing information rather than full card numbers.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, process and route orders, support customers, send service communications, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain records, improve performance and comply with legal obligations.

3. Restaurants and service providers

When a customer orders from a restaurant, that restaurant receives the information needed to fulfill and manage the order and may have its own privacy practices. We may share limited information with hosting, communications, analytics, security and payment providers that process it for us, and with authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and local storage for login sessions, security, preferences, cart and ordering functions. We may use limited analytics to understand performance and improve the service. Browser settings can remove or block cookies, but essential features may stop working.

5. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for service, accounting, dispute, security and legal purposes. We use administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

You may update account information, adjust browser cookie controls or contact us to request access, correction or deletion. Some records may be retained where required by law or legitimate business needs. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We will verify requests before acting.

7. Children

FacilMenus is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without appropriate authorization.
